As our towns and villages develop, it is important to ensure that there is the right mix between private and social housing and that there is adequate provision of affordable accommodation.

It is also important to ensure that services, facilities and amenities are in place to support the increasing population. The character of the area must be maintained and historical buildings preserved for future generations.
